Mural at 645 S. Highland, Memphis
As shown in the pictures, the wall for my mural required a lot of prework. First, the brick had to be scraped until all four layers of loose paint was removed. I then applied a special primer to seal the old paint and to ensure that the new acrylic paint would stick. Next the window had to be replaced with new wood, primed, and painted. The old sign was removed and the blue background was applied. Next I added the green semi-circle, blue tree, and stars. Finally I applied the gnome, tiger, and dove to complete the mural.
